And for every sacrifice I’ve made, for every good intention that I did, i await for some sort of earnest gratitude from you. It never came though. And I feel immensely dejected and utterly pathetic for wanting to do so much when it all amount to nothing. It doesn’t work that way isn’t it? Not all efforts are appreciated, not all sacrifices are rewarded with heartfelt thank yous. It’s not that simple isn’t it? All I could hope for is a sense of fulfilment. That somehow, in my own tiny way, I shook the world. Your tiny world was shaken by me, whether you acknowledge it or not, whether you acknowledge me or not.
